About A.J. Wesseler

A.J. Wesseler lives in Rockwall, Texas with his wife Megan, daughters Chloe and Morgan, and yellow lab Wrigley.

Originally from Indianapolis, A.J. graduated from Purdue University with a BA in Organizational Communication, holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, and is certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HRCI and SHRM-SCP from the Society for Human Resources Management. A.J. is currently a Vice President of Human Resources for a building products portfolio company based in Addison, TX.

A.J. is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member, and both A.J. and Megan volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America’s Circle Ten Council, East Trinity Trails District. Chloe is a Tiger Cub in Pack 528 in Rockwall. A.J. and Megan enjoy the outdoors, playing sports, traveling, and staying active.  A.J. is also a member of the Rockwall and East Texas CERTs as well as actively participates with the Rockwall County Republican Party.

Beginning with 110 and 35 mm point and shoots to his dad’s Yashica TL Electro, through Nikon film cameras in college, to today’s digital SLRs, A.J. has enjoyed photography over a number of years and a variety of mediums. A background in film and darkroom technique, modern tools like Photoshop and Lightroom, pro-level equipment, and an eye for framing and capturing those special moments, A.J. will work with you to create the images you desire.

In addition to having an eye for the shot and a mastery of photography technique, A.J. owns and has access to the equipment necessary to achieve the look you are after.  A full equipment list is below.  A typical engagement begins and ends with you.  Prior to any shoot, A.J. will consult with you to understand your needs.  A.J. will continue to be in contact leading up to the day of the shoot.  Afterward, A.J. will complete all processing and deliver products in a timely manner.  Digital and print options are available, and A.J. will work with most budgets.  It is important to understand that the images, your memories, are truly an investment.  Feel free to take a look through the portfolio, follow the Facebook page, and reach out to A.J. through the contact link!
